Jiffy-7 peat blocks for seedlings and cuttings.

Jiffy-7 helps in faster rooting. The limiting effect of exposure to air on the surface of the blocks encourages the development of strong filamentous roots inside the block. This can speed up seedling development by up to 25% and results in stronger and more compact plants.

Jiffy-7 is supplied in a dry compressed form, convenient for storage. The blocks are easily hydrated by hand watering or the normal seedling watering cycle.

All Jiffy-7 blocks have a shaped indentation in the center for easy insertion of even the thinnest cuttings. The fully closed mesh cover allows easy handling without loss of substrate, without damage to roots and allows extension of time to transplant.

Jiffy-7 blocks contain a specially formulated fertilizer for young plants. Most crops do not need additional feeding until transplanting.

The Jiffy-7 mats are designed so that the blocks are firmly attached, but there is also free air movement, which is a preventive measure against diseases and helps the development of roots.

Jiffy-7 blocks are made from peat and 25% coir. Peat for Jiffy-7 is extracted from carefully selected deposits, under strict internal and regulatory control and with minimal environmental impact. The peat deposits are selected so that the natural regeneration of the peat is greater than the extracted quantities, so that the local ecosystems are not damaged.
