Precisely measures the pH value of the nutrient solution so you know whether any adjustments are needed. All plants need a specific pH level for maximum nutrient uptake from the solution. If you do not control pH levels, plants will not be able to absorb the elements they need for good, vigorous growth.

• Bluelab pH Meter is the perfect portable way to accurately measure the pH value of nutrient solution, so you can add the required amount of pH- or pH+ to get growth back on track. Simply place the Bluelab pH Probe probe into the solution and the measurement value will appear on the screen.
• As the Bluelab pH Meter is portable and does not need mains power to operate, it can be used anywhere, at any time.
• Calibration is easy with a single button press and the calibration solutions Bluelab pH 7.0 Calibration Solution and Bluelab pH 4.0 Calibration Solution . The successful-calibration indicator will light up on screen and disappear after 30 days to show you it is time to calibrate again.
• Bluelab pH Meter can be used by everyone – from home enthusiasts to gardeners in professional greenhouses.
• Bluelab pH Probe probe is replaceable, so you can use this instrument for years to come.

Bluelab pH PenPlus is the latest generation of professional pH meter from Bluelab, created for growers who require maximum accuracy, reliability and a long instrument life. Its main innovation is the replaceable pH/temperature probe, which lets you replace only the probe when it wears out, without replacing the entire instrument. This reduces costs, minimises downtime and ensures consistently accurate measurements.

Bluelab pH PenPlus is developed specifically for professional use in hydroponics, coco substrates, soil growing, aquaponics and all systems where precise pH control is crucial. Thanks to its high-quality double-junction pH probe, the device delivers stable, fast and reliable measurements even with frequent use in nutrient solutions.

The greatest advantage of the PenPlus model is the replaceable pH probe (Bluelab pH ProbePlus). With standard pH meters, once the electrode wears out, the entire instrument has to be replaced. With PenPlus you only need to replace the probe through the practical screw mechanism, which significantly extends instrument life and reduces running costs.

The instrument measures both pH and temperature, has a bright backlit LCD display, a Hold function to retain readings, automatic shut-off to save battery power and a calibration reminder every 30 days. It is certified to IP68, meaning it is fully protected against dust and water and suitable for operation in demanding conditions.

Bluelab is one of the most recognisable manufacturers of measuring instruments for professional horticulture, and the PenPlus is designed and manufactured in New Zealand with a focus on long-term reliability and easy maintenance.

📋 Instructions for use

1. Remove the protective cap and rinse the probe with clean water.
2. Immerse the probe in the solution to be measured.
3. Wait for the readings to stabilise.
4. If necessary, use the Hold function to retain the value.
5. After use, rinse the probe and store it with KCl solution in the protective cap.
6. Calibrate the instrument regularly with pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 buffer solutions for maximum accuracy.

💡 Tip from Urban Botaniks: To maximise the life of the pH probe, never store it in distilled water. Use specialised KCl Storage Solution and calibrate at least once a month or always after a prolonged period of non-use.
