DLI Horticulture Plus 1000W DE HPS is a professional double-ended HPS grow lamp for growth and flowering, optimized for high photosynthetic efficiency. DLI has developed the spectrum with enhanced red and blue components, and the lamp provides a PPF of 2100 µmol/s at a consumption of 1020 W and an efficiency of 2.06 µmol/J. It is designed for DLI Joule Series systems and is compatible with most 1000 W DE lighting fixtures.

DLI Horticulture Plus 1000W DE HPS is created for professional greenhouse and indoor lighting, where high luminous flux and stable performance are required. The manufacturer emphasizes the specially optimized spectrum and gas mixture, designed to maintain a high µmol output and long service life.

This is a Double-Ended (DE) lamp with a K12x30s base, which should not be confused with standard single-ended E40 HPS bulbs.

Technical Specifications

• Manufacturer: DLI – Dutch Lighting Innovations
• Series: Horticulture Plus
• Type: HPS / HID plant lamp
• Construction: Double-Ended (DE)
• Nominal rating: 1000 W
• Actual lamp power: 1020 W
• Lamp voltage: 400 V
• PPF: 2100 µmol/s
• Photon efficiency: 2.06 µmol/s/W
• Base: K12x30s
• Length: 394 mm
• Dimmable: No
• Product type: HID Grow Lamp
• Compatibility: Most 1000 W DE systems.

Spectrum and application

DLI states that the spectrum is optimized for higher photosynthetic efficiency, with the red and blue parts enhanced. This makes the lamp suitable for a full growth cycle, including intensive vegetation and flowering.

An additional commercial source points to a color temperature of around 2000 K, which is characteristic of HPS lamps with a pronounced red-orange part of the spectrum.

Luminous efficiency

PPF: 2100 µmol/s

Efficiency: 2.06 µmol/J

Compatibility

The lamp is developed specifically for:

• DLI Joule Series
• most 1000 W Double-Ended HPS systems
• lighting fixtures with K12x30s holders.

It is important that the lighting fixture and ballast are designed for 1000 W DE HPS lamps. It is not suitable as a direct replacement for a standard E40 HPS lamp.

Service life

The lamp model has a long average life and maintains a high µmol output.

For professional cultivation systems, periodic replacement is important, as with HPS technologies, the luminous flux gradually decreases over time.

Dimensions

• Length: 394 mm
• Approximate width: about 38 mm
• Base: K12x30s.

• HPS EL DE (double-ended) lamp
• 1000W, 400V

Lumatek HPS Lamp 1000W 240V is a pulse-start sodium lamp designed to operate with the Lumatek 1000W 240V controllable ballast. It is suitable for growth / vegetative growth as well as the flowering phase. Manufactured using high-quality ceramic arc-tube technology, the lamp can operate at higher internal temperatures, increasing output and efficiency. Pulse-start technology enables faster start and restart times, longer lamp life and increased PAR / PPF output maintenance.

Recommendations:

• Connect to the mains using a suitable ballast.
• Position at least 60 cm away from the tops of the plants!
• Recommended ambient temperature: 25°C
• To make full use of the maximum efficiency of sodium lamps, it is recommended that they be used for no more than one year.

Warning:

• Risk of electric shock - disconnect the power supply before installing, removing or checking the lamp, and protect it from contact with water!
• Do not stare at the light source!
• Fire hazard - keep flammable materials away from the lamp!
• Use only in combination with suitable thermally protected control gear and a suitable device!
• Damaged lamps may emit dangerous radiation and may cause injury, poisoning, property damage or fire!
• Damaged lamps must be replaced immediately with increased caution and disposed of in accordance with local environmental legislation!
• Risk of burns - allow the lamp to cool down first!
• Do not use excessive force when installing a lamp!
• The lamps must be switched off and allowed to cool down at least once a week!
• At the end of the lamp's life - indicated by intermittent switching on and off or significant changes in colour or brightness - the lamp must be replaced immediately!
