Green House Feeding CalMag, calcium and magnesium

Green House Feeding CalMag is a water-soluble mineral supplement containing calcium, magnesium and nitrogen. It is used to supplement according to water quality and the nutrient program.

Dosage and soft water

The official range is 0.1 to 0.5 g per liter of water. For reverse osmosis or rainwater, the manufacturer recommends 0.5 g/L. Use an EC meter and account for the base fertilizer. With hard water, adding it is not automatically necessary.

Which systems?

CalMag can be used in hydroponic and coco programs and in fertigation. It differs from Calcium, which is a separate chelated calcium supplement. Do not mix CalMag with another calcium supplement.

Composition and compatibility

The declared values are 13.5% N, 16.7% CaO and 6% MgO. CaO and MgO are oxide designations, not percentages of elemental calcium and magnesium. See Green House Feeding mineral fertilizers for base nutrients.
