Five-Colour Swiss Chard Mix Seeds - 100 pcs
€3,48
Seed mix of various colours of Swiss chard. Time for something new in your garden!
- Botanical name: Beta vulgaris.
- The different colours are red, pink, orange, yellow and white.
- 1 packet contains approximately 100 seeds.
- The growing period is around 50-60 days.
- The required germination temperature is around 10-20°C.
- Swiss chard, also known as leaf beet or spinach beet, is an exceptionally vitamin- and mineral-rich crop. A wonderful addition to a salad, tasty soup or starter.
Growing recommendations.
- The seeds are sown directly outdoors once the soil has warmed sufficiently. In a longer winter, you can raise seedlings in advance in a greenhouse or indoors.
- Maintain even soil moisture. Avoid infrequent watering with large amounts of water. This is particularly important during the leaf growth period.
- Harvest the leaves from the outer part of the plants, allowing the inner part to continue growing – this will ensure an extended harvest.
- Swiss chard "5 colours" is suitable both for the garden and for indoor cultivation – it adapts well to planters or balcony pots.
- To preserve the colours when your aim is ornamental cultivation, avoid excessive drought and plant with greater spacing between plants to ensure good air circulation.
