Gavita Master EL2 lighting controller

Using a Gavita Master controller to control Gavita e-series fixtures gives you maximum control, ease of use, safety and easy installation. Simply connect the controller cables to your fixture using the included T-splitter, set the fixtures to EXT (external control), connect the fixture and controller to the mains, and your lighting system is ready to use.

The controller can switch all connected modules on and off (the EL2 model can control two separate rooms with up to 40 ballasts in each, or one room with up to 80 ballasts), set the desired light-output level of the modules (as a percentage or absolute value), and even simulate sunrise and sunset by gradually starting and stopping the lamps as they are switched on and off. 

Two important controller functions are automatic lamp dimming and emergency system shutdown. When the room temperature rises above the set parameters, it can seriously damage your crop, sometimes irreversibly. The temperature sensor detects this and reduces the lamp's light output to maintain the safe temperature limits you set. A warning LED on the display will inform you if this happens so that you can take action to remedy the problem. If, for any reason, temperature control in your room fails completely and temperatures rise to unacceptable levels, the system will shut down all equipment it controls in an emergency. The controller alarm can be connected to your alarm system for immediate notification of a problem. You can connect all your e-series fixtures to one controller.

The model also has two ECM1 outputs, allowing you to switch other accessories in the room or rooms (heater, fan, irrigation system, dehumidifier, CO2 system) on and off with a load of up to 15A.
