Dimlux Xtreme Series LED 750W + NIR produces ultra-high levels of PPFD at 2317μmol/s, evenly distributed across a 1.5 x 1.5m area. 1. +NIR (NEAR INFRA-RED) (NEAR INFRARED 700-750NM = FAR RED). This fixture has an amount of far-red light that is used together with red light. In addition, far-red light provides a more complete spectrum, increased photosynthesis, increased photon absorption and higher yield due to adapted morphology. Due to the additional far-red component, plants will become slightly taller than with the version without +NIR.
2. COLOUR IPS DISPLAY AND USER INTERFACE. The incorporation of a colour IPS screen and PhytoVegspec® makes the Xtreme series unique and special. Its distinguishing feature is that the spectra and B:R (blue:red) ratio, or the amount of blue to red light, are displayed very accurately on the screen. Using this information, light recipes can be exchanged between growers and companies using values that are quantitatively measurable and therefore universally transferable. The values that can be controlled are the percentages of BLUE, GREEN and RED light, the B:R ratio, PPF, PPFD, DLI, power, emitted-light percentages, plant temperature and air temperature.
3. BUILT-IN OR EXTERNAL CONTROL. The fixture can operate completely independently and can even act as the master in a group with other fixtures. They can also be controlled by external devices such as the Dimlux Maxi Controller or other controllers. Since the fixture can be updated via Wi-Fi, it is possible to follow the latest trends in light strategy and supplement the spectrum by adding additional fixtures.
4. DRIVERLESS DESIGN (ballast). The drivers that control the LEDs are integrated into the frame of the fixture. Because high-voltage drivers are used, efficiency is particularly high and therefore heat losses are lower. This lower heat loss makes it possible to integrate the drivers into the frame.
5. ANGLED LENSES WITH DEEP PENETRATION AND ULTRA-HIGH TRANSMITTANCE. The angled LED bars are designed to provide the ideal balance between light penetration and uniform distribution. At the recommended height above the crop, uniformity above 95% can be achieved when multiple fixtures are used. Because light from the lenses is focused, less scattered light is lost on walls and walkways. The patented ultra-high-transmittance lens is internally shaped so that the light rays that would normally be reflected back toward the LED (and converted back into heat) now terminate next to the LED and are reflected.
6. AUXILIARY LIGHT TUBE WITH FULL-COLOUR LEDs. Our fixtures have unique auxiliary lighting directed through lenses integrated into the light tube. The auxiliary lights consist of full-colour LEDs and serve as supplementary lighting, alarm indication, a plant-temperature indicator or night lighting, depending on the situation.
7. 3X SMART PORTS. The Xtreme series has 3 available Smart ports. These are universal communication ports with various connection options for a wide range of sensors, such as plant-temperature sensors, air-temperature, CO₂ and humidity sensors, and climate-control devices. Communication can be both analogue and digital through Smart Protocol. It is possible to control up to 160 fixtures through analogue communication and >1000 fixtures through Smart Protocol.
8. DOPPLER RADAR PROXIMITY SENSOR. The built-in Doppler radar sensor can detect movement at a distance of up to 3 metres. This sensor is used, for example, to activate the display and for automatic activation of the (green) auxiliary lighting at night. The intensity and colour of the auxiliary lighting can be adjusted so that the room can be entered at night without disturbing the plants' rhythm. Because night lighting switches on only when there is movement, it will not unnecessarily illuminate areas where it is not needed. Night lighting can be set to different intensities and colours, such as blue, which appears to have less effect on sleep rhythm than green light but to which human vision is less sensitive. The sensor will also be used to automatically switch off UV rays when auxiliary fixtures are used, to prevent eye and skin damage.
