Lumatek HPS Lamp 1000W 240V is a pulse-start sodium lamp designed to operate with the Lumatek 1000W 240V controllable ballast. It is suitable for growth / vegetative growth as well as the flowering phase. Manufactured using high-quality ceramic arc-tube technology, the lamp can operate at higher internal temperatures, increasing output and efficiency. Pulse-start technology enables faster start and restart times, longer lamp life and increased PAR / PPF output maintenance.

Recommendations:

• Connect to the mains using a suitable ballast.
• Position at least 60 cm away from the tops of the plants!
• Recommended ambient temperature: 25°C
• To make full use of the maximum efficiency of sodium lamps, it is recommended that they be used for no more than one year.

• Risk of electric shock - disconnect the power supply before installing, removing or checking the lamp, and protect it from contact with water!
• Do not stare at the light source!
• Fire hazard - keep flammable materials away from the lamp!
• Use only in combination with suitable thermally protected control gear and a suitable device!
• Damaged lamps may emit dangerous radiation and may cause injury, poisoning, property damage or fire!
• Damaged lamps must be replaced immediately with increased caution and disposed of in accordance with local environmental legislation!
• Risk of burns - allow the lamp to cool down first!
• Do not use excessive force when installing a lamp!
• The lamps must be switched off and allowed to cool down at least once a week!
• At the end of the lamp's life - indicated by intermittent switching on and off or significant changes in colour or brightness - the lamp must be replaced immediately!
