Agro Vermiculite F3 100 L, 0-5 mm Medium Grade

Agro Vermiculite F3 100 litres, medium grade is a high-quality mineral substrate with a 0–5 mm particle size, designed to improve soil structure and provide optimal conditions for plant growth. Thanks to its physical and chemical properties, vermiculite is widely used in gardening, greenhouse production and hydroponic systems.

Key features:

• Particle size: 0–5 mm (medium grade)

• Volume: 100 litres

• Material: Naturally expanded vermiculite

• Colour: Golden brown

• pH: Neutral to slightly alkaline

• Water-retention capacity: High

• Thermal-insulation properties: Good

• Origin: Greece

Advantages:

• Improves soil aeration: Prevents compaction and provides an optimal oxygen supply for roots.

• Retains moisture and nutrients: Reduces the need for frequent watering and fertilising.

• Resistant to decomposition: Does not break down over time, making it a long-lasting component in soil mixes.

• Lightweight and easy to handle: Makes transport and mixing with other substrates easier.

• Natural and safe: Contains no harmful substances and is suitable for organic farming.

Applications:

• Seedling production: Mix with peat or coconut substrate to improve structure and moisture retention.

• Growing potted plants: Improves drainage and aeration in pots and containers.

• Hydroponic systems: Use as an inert substrate for growing plants without soil.

• Mulching: Cover the soil surface to retain moisture and prevent weeds.

• Storage of bulbs and tubers: Protects against rotting and drying out during storage.
