Bio Nova Coco Brick - Compressed Coconut Substrate Block, 1 pc

Bio Nova Coco Brick is a high-quality 100% natural coco substrate, pre-washed and buffered with Calcium (Ca) and Magnesium (Mg). Each compressed brick expands into up to 10 litres of ready-to-use coco substrate (after adding it to 4-5 litres of water), increasing its volume approximately tenfold. Compared with conventional peat substrates, compressed coco substrate bricks are easier to transport and use.

Benefits of Bio Nova Coco Brick:

• Excellent water-retention properties – requires less watering (up to 65%) compared with peat substrate. It retains water instead of releasing it like traditional peat substrate. The coco substrate's ability to quickly rewet and its rapid drainage characteristics also reduce nutrient loss through leaching. The pH of coco is natural and slightly acidic and is therefore resistant to the occurrence of bacteria, weeds and fungi, and is truly pathogen-free. Its naturally high lignin content encourages the development of beneficial microorganisms. It can be used both indoors and outdoors. Coco substrate is entirely organic – derived from coconut palms in Sri Lanka. It has no harmful environmental impact when disposed of.

Directions for use:

1. Fill a bucket with 4-5 litres of warm water.
2. Place one coco brick in it and leave it to expand for ± 30 minutes.
3. Stir thoroughly to obtain up to 10 litres of ready-to-use substrate.
