This Bluelab EC pen simply shows whether your plants are receiving the right amount of nutrients and lets you know if any adjustments to the solution are required. To feed your plants well, you need to know what you are feeding them! Measuring conductivity every day is the best way to avoid over-diluting or over-concentrating your nutrient solution. Replace the reservoir solution completely every 7 days. Top up nutrient levels between changes so your plants always have the food they need. Bluelab Conductivity Pen also measures solution temperature, as root health is vital to a successful harvest. Temperature affects the rate of growth and plant structure, so a solution temperature of 18-22°C is recommended.
