When growing hydroponically, it is essential to KNOW the strength of the nutrient solution before giving it to your plants. If conductivity readings are too low, your plants may not receive enough nutrients. If readings are too high, plants can become dehydrated. To take a measurement, simply place the probe in the solution and the reading will be indicated by the flashing lights.
