Chia - 40g seeds
€3,48
40 g seeds Salvia hispanica, chia (chia) – an exceptionally nutritious and beneficial seed with unique qualities and benefits for your health and well-being. Our "Chia" seeds are of superior quality and guarantee excellent results when grown and consumed.
- the package contains: 40 g seeds
"Chia" seeds, scientifically known as Salvia hispanica, are considered a superfood because of their exceptional nutritional properties. These small seeds are rich in fibre, antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. They are known for providing energy, promoting satiety, supporting digestion and improving health. To grow "Chia" seeds, begin by preparing the soil. They prefer well-drained, humus-rich soil with a neutral to slightly acidic pH. Clear the soil of weeds and small debris, then loosen it to ensure good permeability and root development. Sow the "Chia" seeds about 2-3 centimetres apart and cover them with a thin layer of soil. Apply light pressure to secure them well in the soil. For successful cultivation, keep the soil moist but not overly wet. Water the plants regularly, especially during dry periods. It is important to avoid excess moisture, which can lead to root rot. "Chia" plants are generally resistant to diseases and pests, making them relatively easy to grow. Provide sufficient sunlight and avoid overly dense planting, which can hinder the plants and cause problems. When "Chia" plants reach maturity, you can harvest the leaves and seeds for consumption. "Chia" leaves can be added to salads, soups or juices, while the seeds are used to garnish dishes, make bread or pastries, or as an addition to puddings and smoothies.
