Adjustable Gavita DigiStar electronic ballasts ensure maximum lamp output regardless of the input voltage.
They operate completely silently, cool and safely, and are more efficient than magnetic ballasts.
DigiStar ballasts have adjustable output power. This function allows you to dim and boost the lamp or use lamps with different wattages with the same ballast, for example, a 400W lamp for vegetative growth and a 600W lamp for the flowering stage.
This ballast is equipped with the Soft Dim function: when you adjust the output power using the switch, Soft Dim gradually changes the power over 60 seconds at each output level to protect the lamp.

Suitable for the Gavita Master controller

The new DigiStar e-series ballasts are compatible with the Gavita Master lighting controller series. Gavita controllers allow you to centrally switch, dim and boost the ballasts. They include automatic dimming at high temperatures and emergency shutoff functions, as well as adjustable sunrise and sunset periods. Gavita controllers replace the traditional timer/contactor and eliminate ballast inrush current.
