It is a favourite among cooks and gardeners thanks to its high productivity and ease of cultivation.

- Fruit size: Medium-sized, about 100-150 g.
- Shape: Round, with smooth, glossy skin.
- Flavour: Balanced, sweet-and-sour, with a lightly fresh aroma. Ideal for fresh salads, sauces and side dishes.
- Flesh: Firm, meaty, with few seeds and a high juice content.

Growing "Zebra" tomatoes:
Sowing and seedlings:
- Sowing period: January – March.
- Temperature: The seeds germinate at a temperature of around 20-25°C.
- Seedlings: Once the plants develop 2-3 true leaves, move them to larger containers or outdoors after mid-May, when there is no longer a risk of frost.
Planting outdoors or in a greenhouse:
- Planting period: In May, when temperatures are stable and there is no risk of frost.
- Plant spacing: Plant 50-60 cm apart to provide enough room for growth.
- Soil: Prefers fertile, well-drained soil with neutral pH (6.0-6.8).
Care:
- Watering: Water regularly, but avoid overwatering, which can lead to root rot.
- Fertilisation: Feed with organic fertilisers or specialised tomato fertilisers containing potassium and phosphorus for better fruiting.
- Support: Due to the indeterminate nature of the variety, provide suitable supports (stakes or trellises) for the plants to support them as they grow.
Fruiting and harvest:
- Fruiting period: From July to October, depending on climatic conditions.
- Harvest: The fruits are ready to pick when they begin to show the characteristic green-yellow stripes and reach maturity.
Advantages of the "Zebra" variety:
- Unusual appearance: The dark green stripes on the golden-yellow background of the fruits create a beautiful decorative effect, both in the garden and on the plate.
- Flavour: The sweet-and-sour taste is perfect for all kinds of dishes — from salads and sauces to side dishes and fresh snacks.
- Productivity: The plant produces an abundant harvest throughout the season.
- Resilience: The variety is resistant to common diseases and unfavourable conditions.
