Lumii Digita ECO

Lumii Digita ECO is an electronic ballast with a built-in microprocessor that controls and operates at a higher frequency than standard analogue ballasts. Higher efficiency means more light for your plants. It enables rapid lamp ignition, saving energy. Quieter than any other ballast. The 400W model has 4 operating modes: 250W, 250W Boost, 400W and 400W Boost. For a 400W lamp, start at 400W; after 10-15 minutes you can switch to 400 Boost (+10%) or reduce to 250 Boost or 250W. For a 250W lamp, start at 250W; after 10-15 minutes you can switch to 250 Boost (+10%). Measurements show up to 30% more brightness than analogue ballasts. The electronic ballast solves the issue of irregular mains voltage. Analogue ballasts age over time, begin to make noise and consume more electricity, and run hotter while light output decreases. This does not happen with electronic ballasts: they maintain the same level of output and efficiency. To ensure safe operation, the Lumii ballast is programmed to switch off in the event of a short circuit, a burned-out lamp or a missing lamp.

Switch off the power when changing the lamp. Lumii recommends replacing the lamp every 9 months. It is VERY IMPORTANT that the lamp cool down completely (20-30 min.) before being switched on again! Doing otherwise shortens its life. Also, do not switch it off before the lamp reaches full power. Protect the ballast from overheating and getting wet. Install at least 15cm apart.
