VENTS RS-1-400 is an electronic controller for stepless speed control of single-phase fans and other voltage-controllable AC motors. Operation

The RS-1-400 regulates the speed by changing the voltage supplied to the motor. Operation starts from a pre-set minimum value and allows for a smooth increase up to maximum speed. The minimum speed can be adjusted via a potentiometer on the electronic board.

This is important for fans that should not be reduced below a certain speed to ensure the motor remains stable and properly cooled.

Controlling multiple fans

A single RS-1-400 can control more than one compatible fan simultaneously, if:

the total current of all connected fans is ≤ 1.8 A.

For example, with two fans drawing 0.6 A each, the total load is 1.2 A, which remains within the allowed range.
