Root Plus 21 L Round Air-Pruning Pot

Stable 21-litre pot with perforations and a modular construction, providing optimum root aeration and healthy growth. ?

Detailed features

• Volume: 21 litres.
• Diameter: 30 cm; height: 29 cm.
• Tapered wall that guides roots toward the openings, preventing circling.
• Walls open for ventilation, with a grid base for good air circulation and drainage.
• Encourages "air pruning" – when a root tip reaches an opening, it "dries out" and prompts the formation of numerous fine root hairs.
• Material: UV-stabilised, recyclable plastic body — resistant to direct sunlight.
• Suitable for long-term use.

Recommendations for use

• Fill the pot with high-quality growing substrate and plant the plants.
• Use for crops that require a well-developed root environment and good aeration (for example, large-volume pots, balcony plants or movable systems).
• Place the pot on a tray to drain excess water and provide drainage.
• Check moisture and the root system through the perforations to avoid overwatering or water retention.
• When roots begin to fill the pot, move to a larger volume or transplant to prevent stagnation.

Benefits

This pot greatly facilitates healthy root-system development — through improved aeration and root care, it provides better water and nutrient uptake. In addition, the UV-resistant material increases reliability, while the tapered-wall and perforation design ensures that roots develop correctly and do not circle, resulting in healthier plants and higher productivity.
