Serrano (Serrano) - 25 pcs seeds
€3,00
Serrano is a classic Mexican hot pepper, Capsicum annuum, originating from the fertile regions around Puebla and Hidalgo, Mexico. It produces crisp fruits around 6 cm long, ripening from green to red. With a heat level of 8 000–22 000 SHU and a fresh, clean flavour, Serrano is one of the traditional peppers for making fresh Mexican salsa.
Serrano is an excellent choice for lovers of classic Mexican cuisine. Its small fruits are crisp with a fresh, clean flavour and can be used both green and fully ripe red.
Please note that this variety is significantly hotter than familiar Jalapeño and Fresno. Its combination of fresh flavour, crisp texture and good heat makes it especially suitable for salsa and fresh consumption.
