Sulphur Evaporator

Hotbox Sulfume is a sulphur evaporator that protects plants from fungal diseases and suppresses the spread of harmful insects. Sulphur is an effective and safe agent in the fight against fungal diseases, and its beneficial effects have been known for more than 200 years. Suitable for organic farming.

Mode of action: Sulphur can kill spores of airborne fungal pathogens. It also stops the growth of newly established colonies on plant tissue.

Directions for use: Suspend the unit at least 1 metre below the room ceiling. The unit must remain upright. Fill the reservoir with sulphur up to the mark. Adding a larger amount will prevent the unit from working properly! Use only pure sulphur with as few impurities as possible. If any impurities remain after using the unit, they must be cleaned out before the next use.

• For infestation: 2-4 hours overnight with doors and ventilation closed.
• Preventively: for about 2 hours overnight, 2-3 times per week.

Coverage: one unit covers 100 m². Half a bucket holds approx. 150 g of sulphur, sufficient for more than 150 hours of operation.

Evaporation: reaches temperatures from 119 to 159^oC, at which sulphur evaporates safely.

Aluminium reservoir and heating plate: ensure effective heating and evaporation. It is recommended that the unit be used only with the original reservoir.

Stainless-steel housing: allows the unit to be moved while switched on.

Low energy consumption: 120 W during initial heating and 45 W while maintaining temperature.

Voltage-independent: suitable for locations with fluctuating voltage and a weak electrical supply, as the quality and quantity of evaporated sulphur are unaffected by changes within the 110 to 250 V range.
