SuperPro - MFRT-1 multifunction interval timer

For switching electrical appliances (pumps, etc.) on periodically at repeating intervals.

MFRT-1 consists of 2 independent timers (timer #1 and timer #2), each with 2 outputs (N/O - normally open and N/C - normally closed). Each output corresponds to one state of one of the two timers. The device is equipped with a photocell, so each timer can be set to operate during the day, at night or independently of light levels. Each timer supplies power to one of its outputs (N/O) while it is "on" and to the other (N/C) while it is "off".

INSTALLATION:

Mount MFRT-1 on a wall. Connect it to the mains. Connect the devices to be controlled by the timer.

FACTORY SETTINGS:

• Timer #1 ON interval: 1 min. 
• Timer #1 OFF interval: 1 h.
• Timer #2 ON interval: 1 min.
• Timer #2 OFF interval: 1 h.

LIGHT-DEPENDENT MODE (for both timers): day

TIMER MODE (for both timers): stop

To restore factory settings, press "Enter/Reset" and "down arrow" for 3 sec. "f.Set" will appear on the display; press "Enter/Reset" again and "doNE" will appear.

SETTING INTERVALS:

Setting the timers is easy: select a function using the relevant button (the display will show the selected option) and adjust the time with the arrows.

BUTTONS AND FUNCTIONS:

MFRT-1 is configured using the front-panel buttons. Pressing each button displays the relevant function on the screen. Some buttons have more than one function.

• UP ARROW - selects a higher value
• DOWN ARROW - selects a lower value
• Enter/Reset - press and hold for 3 seconds to enter new settings
• Recycle ON Time Setting - sets the duration of the "on" interval. Time is set in hours, minutes and seconds; use Enter to move between them.
• Recycle OFF Time Setting - sets the duration of the "off" interval. Time is set in hours, minutes and seconds; use Enter to move between them.
• Day / Night 24 Hour - selects a mode according to light. There are 3 options: day (Day), night (Night) and continuous (24 Hours). Select a mode with the arrows and confirm with Enter.
• Recycle Timer Mode - selects the timer mode after a power outage: STOP (timer stops) or CONTINUE. The default setting is STOP. In this mode the timer stops counting time when power is interrupted (as if "paused"). In CONTINUE mode, the timer continues counting time while there is no power. Select a mode with the arrows and confirm with Enter.
• Override Recycle Timer - press for 2 sec. to manually switch on the relevant output. This function is useful for testing equipment. The power supply will switch off after the "on" interval expires or if this button is pressed again.

SETTING THE PHOTOCELL:

The photocell sensitivity can be changed. Press the DOWN ARROW for 3 sec. The current setting will appear on the display. Adjust it with the arrows. A higher value means greater sensitivity (i.e. weaker light will trigger the photocell).
