VENTS Boost-I 250 features:

• Application: VENTS Boost-I 250 duct (inline) fans are enclosed in a specially designed sound-insulated housing, which ensures quiet operation of the fan combined with high aerodynamic performance. The fan is compatible with round ⌀ 250 mm air ducts. VENTS Boost-I 250 combines the broad capabilities and high performance of axial and centrifugal fans, thereby providing powerful airflow and high pressure. VENTS Boost-I 250 is recommended for ventilation systems in various commercial and industrial premises with high noise-level requirements, such as libraries, conference rooms, educational institutions, kindergartens and more.
• Design: the outer housing is made of galvanised steel. Thermal and sound insulation is provided by 30 mm acoustic foam. Thanks to the improved mixed-flow impeller, which is a hybrid of an axial and centrifugal impeller, Boost-I has low energy consumption, low noise and high performance. The specially designed diffuser, impeller and outlet air-flow straightener ensure smooth air distribution and enable the best combination of high airflow, increased pressure and low noise. The fan housing is fitted with a sealed terminal box for connection to the mains.
• Motor: single-phase, high-efficiency, three-speed asynchronous motor with low energy consumption. The motor is equipped with thermal switches for overheating protection. Ball bearings ensure a long service life (approximately 40 000 hours of continuous operation). The motor ingress-protection rating is IPX4.
• Speed control: the fan has no speed switch; the desired speed is set manually when the power cable is first connected.
• Installation: the fan is designed for use with round air ducts. The fan housing has mounting brackets for convenient ceiling installation. The ducts can be installed at any angle relative to the fan axis. Ensure sufficient access for maintenance during fan installation. Electrical connection and installation must be carried out in accordance with the operating manual and the wiring diagram supplied with the terminal box. A ventilation system may have several fans installed in parallel to increase output capacity or in series to increase operating pressure.
